Project<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The City of Vernon is the urban centre in\u00a0a rural landscape consisting of agricultural properties and a transportation hub where highways meet. It is set among lakes and forested areas with foothills that build up to\u00a0Silver Star mountain in the north east. (See City of Vernon<\/a>\u00a0page)<\/h4>\n

The profile of Vernon on the internet reflects the importance of the tourist and agricultural industries to the city. However, much of the personality that makes Vernon unique and attractive is not found on-line. My site specific art project became this website and I conducted video interviews of individuals that I met.<\/h4>\n

Postcards From Vernon<\/span><\/h2>\n

I was in Vernon for a brief period in 2015, so the interviews and impressions that I gathered are like postcards from a place. A brief, but personal, look into a community that I can share with you on the internet.<\/p>\n
