Occupy Vancouver poet: Performed original poem The Evolution is Being Televised; on the Occupy Stage, Vancouver.

Composer, Performer, Animator, Visual Artist + Technologist for interactive installation, Bandwidth, premiere at the Guelph Jazz Festival Nuit Blanche.

Lead Artist, Curator, Musician, Composer, Animator, Visual Artist + Technologist for integrated media show Rise Up, Fallen Angel: a new paradigm in gallery exhibits. Play the Moment Composers’ Collective: Victoria Gibson, leader, guitar, vocals + computer; Paul Plimley, guitar; Lisle Ellis, bass + electronics; Christina deRoos, projection artist at The Center for Performance Research, Brooklyn, NY – May 26, 27 + 28. Participation by over thirty visual artists from all over the world shown projected on three screens. Performance streamed live on to the internet.

Visual and performance artist in on-line Women and Identity Festival, based in New York, but shown on the internet– Deep Listening. Curated by Carole Ione.

Spoken word and music: Choral singer in “Songs for a Better Future” conduction by DB Boyco with the Voice Over Mind Choir documented on video as part of a larger work by Matei Benjenaru, member of the Vector Association based in Iasi, Romania, at the Western Front, Vancouver

It’s the Same . . . But Different” – conduction and spoken word performance of new composition work-in-progress – with the New Orchestra Workshop at the Western Front, Vancouver

Artist-in-Residency collaboration with Lisle Ellis, NYC based musician – Headlands Centre for the Arts, Sausalito, CA

The Oxygen Collective – performance laptop, guitar + vocals – curated by Thomas Bell at The Tank in NYC.

Seleno Clarke and the Harlem Groove Band – guitar session in Harlem, NYC.

Bandwidth – visual music work-in-progress – EMPAC, RPI, Troy, New York.

Collaborations – performance laptop + vocals – with Paul Plimley, Tommy Babin, Phil Emerson and spoken word artists, including Tee Crane.

Voice Over Mind Festival- choral performance with DB Boyco and Christine Duncan

Anthony Braxton: Sonic Genome World Premiere – performance on laptop computer and vocals – included improvised vocal solo with large ensemble

Phil Minton: Feral Choir – directed improvised vocal performance in choral setting

Girl Can Dream podcast series – created a showcase for material on http://vix.ca

Photography and video arts residency at Banff Centre in support of Fleck Fellow, Pauline Oliveros – created 20min film for “A New Beginning, A Playground” based on a concept by Oliveros and Ione. Provided video and still image documentary of residency.

Recorded as a guest with The Deep Listening Band at the Cistern Chapel, Fort Worden, WA – vocals and hand percussion

Green 365 @ VCC Sustainability Fair – “Live More Lightly mini Workshop” – led participants in several sessions of “The Live More Lightly Song” at both campuses of Vancouver Community College

Sonic Boom Festival of New Music by BC Composers – with Paul Plimley, piano. Performed our composition, “Sapphire Choir” on notebook computer and voice.

15e Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois et francophone de Vancouver. Played music using notebook computer, voice and guitar for two nights of show, “100 years of Film Music” with Paul Plimley, Marguerite Witvoet and guests
